MyBasketball is committed to protecting your privacy, especially for young athletes. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide during registration including name, email, date of birth, and training preferences. We also collect usage data such as videos watched, sessions completed, and progress metrics.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to personalise development, schedule training, record progress, deliver appropriate feedback and support, manage access and improve the service.
3. Data for Minors (Under 18)
Under-16 accounts must be initiated by a parent, legal guardian or carer, and players under 18 require appropriate guardian consent. Minor data, visibility and communication are subject to additional safeguards under applicable data-protection law.
4. Video Submissions
Practice videos submitted for coach feedback are stored securely and accessed only by Coach Bruno and authorised staff. Videos are not shared with third parties and may be deleted upon request.
5. Payment Information
Checkout is not currently enabled and MyBasketball does not presently collect card details. This policy will be updated before a payment provider is activated.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers (hosting, analytics) who are bound by data processing agreements. We may disclose information if required by law.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Until the verified in-app deletion workflow is complete, submit data requests to privacy@coachb.com.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for the duration of your account and up to 12 months after account deletion for legal and compliance purposes, unless you request earlier deletion.
9. Cookies & Tracking
Essential technologies are used for authentication and app functionality. Any analytics or optional tracking controls must be reviewed and documented before public launch.
